Tarlac City Mayor Cristy Angeles in partnership with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Tarlac City launched the Angel Values Formation Against Illegal Drugs and Insurgency Program at Batang-Batang Integrated School last Wednesday, August 15, 2018.

 

At the launching of the program a total of 160 students from Batang-Batang Integrated School attended the said seminar. Through Angel Values Formation Against Illegal Drugs and Insurgency Program students from all around Tarlac City will undergo seminars that will tackle punitive aspects when caught using and carrying illegal drugs, the ill effects to health and to the society.

 

Aside from the PNP lead by Chief of Police Joel Mendoza, also present in the launching of Angel Values Formation Against Illegal Drugs and Insurgency are Capt. Dexter Magbitang, together with members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, City Health Office lead by Dra Carmela Go and Mr. Lemton Agricola and his wife Venjie Agricola.

 

The Angel Values Formation Against Illegal Drugs and Insurgency is just one of the programs of Mayor Cristy Angeles in line with President Duterte’s battle against illegal drugs. It can be remembered that Mayor Cristy Angeles had already launched the Hakbang Anghel Tungo sa Magandang Buhay, a 14-week drug rehabilitation program which aims to help drug surrenderers to face a new chapter of their lives.

 

Mayor Cristy Angeles will continue both Angel Values Formation Against Illegal Drugs and Insurgency, and Hakbang Anghel Tungo sa Magandang Buhay to avoid and eradicate any illegal drugs incident in our city.
